2 days of meranti were over.
it has been meaningful...
circumstances place me into this gesl grp.
so, other than jeremy (CHOP-mate), ying tin (105 grp-mate) & a few familiar faces from bio lectures, it's my first time joining the 09 family...
my first time, seeing more new faces...
(if only there's the official FOC!!!)
if i say i'm not nervous joining 09, who would believe?
who would be comfortable joining a big group whom they have already know one another for almost a year?
whom they have cooperate & work hard together for their grp's gesl project...
it's hard, but i try...
they are a fun group of ppl!
they seem so happy-go-lucky... ;)
but everyone has gone thr a lot...
it's thr experiences that we learn and grow, no matter it's our own or tt of others...
i'm sure all the stories hit us hard in the heart...
and they make us reflect...
reflect on wat matter most in life...
we had discussions on education issues, races, religions & stuff...
pardon me... i'm not proficient in voicing my opinions & speaking...
especially in new environment...
i did my best.
i'm not comfortable sharing stories with new friends...
but i did...
cause u guys did...
so i just say it.
but it's difficult...
now reflecting back, i realise i missed out quite a few interesting events...
i didnt know if i made myself understandable,
but i did my best.
it has been a very long time since i make my brain exercise...
actually when i think back on the activities tt we've done,
there are not many...
oni a few...
- games
- conversation with students
- conversation with teachers
- life stories
- 123 pull
but they're meaningful...
in a way, they offer different insights and perspectives
which we may not have realise, or have overlooked...
it's thr these activities and talks tt we really think...
& ponder hard... with our hearts...
its not a session which we learn from the lecture style...
we learn from experiencing them...
from everyone elses experiences...
& from everyone elses perceptions...
the time spent was worth it...
it's always valuable to get a peep into someone elses life...
to be their audiences...
to share their emotions, to encourage them & to help one another to move along...
sometimes it's better being than doing...
